DCP 161 (premium rate for exceeded capacity charges)

May 2015

DCP 242 proposal to prevent DCP 161 implementation on 1 April 2016:

The proposal form says that "This matter has been discussed extensively at the DCMF MIG". Can you spot it in these (the most recent documents from MIG)?

2014

The intent of DCP 161 is to increase charges made when half-hourly metered customers exceed their agreed capacity, so as to reflect the fact that they have made no connection charge contribution to the additional capacity that they use, and that network investment costs are ordinarily charged for over the whole year whereas current exceeded capacity charges are only applied for one month.
