This is a paid service package for the provision of a modified charging model and an estimate of the impact of the changes.
The work includes:
- Understanding the modelling changes requested.
- Selecting and customising appropriate rules and options in the model generation code to implement the change.
- Generating the model.
- Checking that the model implements the desired change, and making any corrections if necessary.
- Using published data or explicit assumptions, estimate the impact of the change on tariffs.
The deliverables are a blank model implementing the change, and a set of data tables showing the estimated impact.
Service package units and pricing:
- SPU-13: model with impact estimate: £1,600 plus VAT.
Optional extra: supplementary impact assessment document
An optional extension to the service package unit above is he preparation of a document highlighting interesting aspects of the impact of a model change.
The work includes:
- identifying the major impacts of the change;
- explaining how the impact relates to the nature of the change;
- where relevant, highlighting significant side-effects of the change; and
- writing up the analysis in a form suitable for inclusion in a consultation document or change report.
